This week the children in reception have been busy reading 'The Tiger who came to tea' and thinking about the what happens in the story and where it is set. This is in preparation for their trip to the theatre next week. There are still a number of parents who have not paid for this trip - please do so asap or pop into school for a confidential discussion if you need support financing this.
Year 1 have been learning using graphics software on purple mash on the iPads to show the data they collected last week when they went for a walk around the local area.
Year 2 have been very busy writing about Queen Victoria's knickers! and learning all about her life. I have seen some very imaginative star writers this week - congratulations to the children who were awarded this achievement.
Grandparent Glitter event
Thank you for supporting this fantastic day. Lots of grandparents have attended this morning and we are expecting more later this afternoon. We hope they all enjoy being creative with their grandchildren and other children they may have supported in the class. They will also be treated to a sneak preview of the Christmas performance songs from the children.
