Birthdays, celebrations and other events

Birthdays

Your child's birthday will be celebrated in school in their class.  We promote healthy eating in school and therefore, request that you do not send in sweets for the class.  If you wish, you can provide a birthday book instead.  This is a lovely way to add to the class book collection and most parents choose their child's favourite book and write a birthday message inside.

Festivals

We celebrate a number of different festivals and events in school.  School will provide any food and drink for the children as part of this, so that allergies can be catered for. 

Christmas

We celebrate Christmas in school in lots of ways, including a party and visit from a very important person. 

We request that children do not bring in Christmas class for the class.

Instead we support the Leamington Night Shelter Reverse Advent calendar and ask you to donate items such as socks, shampoo, pot noodles, tins and other non perishable food items.
