Wraparound Care - SMILES Club

Our children are very proud of their smart school uniform which consists of:

Royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan.
White or pale blue polo shirt.
Grey trousers, grey shorts, grey pinafore dress or grey skirt.
Sensible black shoes (no trainers).
Plain socks or tights – grey, black or blue.
Summer – light blue and white gingham dress. Sandals (not open toed) to be worn with socks.

We sell uniform through three different channels;

1) preloved directly in school - kept in the main school entrance - pop in at any time

2) Via Yorcio school wear which is an online ordering service

3) Via Clive Mark which is a physical shop in Warwick town centre and online ordering service

Any parent or carer struggling to purchase uniform can speak in confidence to a member of our office team - we always have spare preloved uniform available.  Logo items are not complusory.

Our School Uniform Policy can be found on our A-Z policies page.

  • All items of uniform should be clearly marked with your child’s name. Both uniform shops sell name tags if you prefer these.

  • If children wear a watch (not Fitbits, smart watches or other fitness trackers) they must be responsible for its safekeeping.
  • Long hair MUST be tied up.
  • We ask that children wear small, plain hair accessories in blue, white , grey or black and that JoJo bows and other 'exciting' hair accessories are enjoyed after school and at weekends.
  • The PTA give a blue Book Bag with the school logo to every child when they start our school.
Halo Code
As a school we have signed up to the Halo Code which champions and respects the fact that Afro-textured hair may require specific styling and maintenance to ensure hair is healthy. The Halo Code complements our Uniform Guidance and helps our school community to better reflect our belief that hair texture and style do not impact on anyone's ability to succeed.

https://halocollective.co.uk/

Our school champions the right of staff and students to embrace all Afro-hairstyles. We acknowledge that Afro-textured hair is an important part of our Black staff and students’ racial, ethnic, cultural, and religious identities, and requires specific styling for hair health and maintenance.

We welcome Afro-textured hair worn in all styles including, but not limited to, afros, locs, twists, braids, cornrows, fades, hair straightened through the application of heat or chemicals, weaves, wigs, headscarves, and wraps.

At this school, we recognise and celebrate our staff and students’ identities. We are a community built on an ethos of equality and respect where hair texture and style have no bearing on anyone's ability to succeed.
