Head's Message

Last week we show cased our school again to prospective parents for September 2026.  The children once again welcomed our large number of visitors into their classrooms and we received excellent feedback.   However a declining birth rate is impacting our school numbers. Please help us to promote our school to your friends and neighbours!

Thank you for supporting Children in Need  - the children managed their laps this week as the weather has been a little better. School council have counted the donated amount which is an amazing  £421.90 - which is a £100 more than last year!  Thank you to everyone for supporting this really worthy cause.

Year 3 places
If your child is in year 2 please remember that you have to apply for their year 3 place either at the Juniors or another school of your choice.  Here is the link if you have not already done so.

High rate of sickness in school

Like most public settings at the moment, we have a high number of sickness and flu like illnesses.  We have stepped up our cleaning regime and are continually reminding the children to wash their hands.  Please help us to contain the spread by keeping your child off school if they are unwell and adhering to the 48 hour rule around sickness and diarrhoea.

Flu vaccinations

You should have received a consent request from the School Immunisation team for the flu vaccination scheduled for Tuesday 2nd December . Consent requests went out via the automated system on the 11th November. If any parents have not received this request, then please could they let the office team know on admin2326@welearn365.com

PTA

We have teamed up with Frog Trees again this year  -pre order your real Christmas tree from then and they make a donation to school.  Please see the leaflet sent via email.

Have a good weekend, wrap up warm!
