Head's message

Year 1 and 2 parents, I hope you enjoyed attending the year 1 Christmas performances and the Year 2 Christmas Carols at church.  I am sure you will agree that the children were absolutely amazing and should be really proud of themselves. A big thank you to you for helping your child practise their lines and provide them with costumes.  And a huge thank you to the Telford team for once again putting lots of time and effort into getting the best out of the children to produce a memorable performance.   Reception parents it is your turn next week - bring those tissues! 

PTA update

Thank you so much for supporting the PTA Winter Wonderland event - so far we have raised £4,008 which is amazing and will go towards providing essential resources for the children that we would not be able to afford otherwise. I am very grateful and proud that we have such an amazing PTA!

PTA will be selling hot chocolate and cookies after school on Friday 19th December so please pop along if you can.  Our choir will also be singing carols on the front playground after school on that day.  If your child is in the choir and can take part in this, please collect them from their classroom at 3.20pm as normal and take them to the front playground as quickly as possible so the choir can start promptly.

End of term Christmas Party

We will be holding a Christmas party for the children in the afternoon on Friday 19th December.  The children can come to school dressed ready in their party clothes but need to still wear their normal school shoes and coat. They will play games and have fun in their classrooms.  A small treat will be provided, all allergies will be catered for, you do not need to provide anything. We may even have a visit from the big man himself..........

Please remember next week is the last week of term, the last school day being Friday 19th December.   

School reopens for children on Tuesday 6th January 2026.

Lost property

We have a very large amount of lost property which will be put out on Friday as usual  - any unclaimed lost property will be recycled. 

School uniform

School uniform is an important part of our identity and ethos.  Please ensure that the correct school uniform is worn including school shoes and appropriate hair accessories.  Trainers, non uniform hair accessories and untied long hair has started to appear recently.  Thank you for your support in ensuring your child wears the correct uniform.
