Head's message

This week has been Children's Mental Health week and the children have been experiencing activities such as yoga and mindfulness and talking about how to have a healthy mind and body.  Internet safety day on Tuesday, was also a good opportunity to talk further to the children about the importance of breaks for screen time and healthy use of IT.  5 ways to wellbeing is a great resource to help parents with this important topic.

You may have already seen the wonderful videos that your children have made about important internet safety messages - these are on tapestry for you to view.  Please take the time to watch them with your child and talk about how you keep them safe on the internet at home.

OPAL feedback

Our OPAL questionnaire will close on 23rd February ready for our external audit. Thank you to those of you who have shared your feedback already, this is really important for us to build on the great start we have already made.  Please click here to access the questionnaire.

Half term activities

To celebrate the National Year of Reading, our local libraries are hosting a number of different events this half term.  Click here to find out more.

Important dates for Spring 2 term.

All dates can be found on our calendar.  However, here is a quick summary and information;

Tuesday 17th March - Celebration of Learning event - 3pm onwards - just go to your child's classroom door and the teacher will sign you in, no need to book.

********************************************************************************************************************

Apologies, due to the weather forecast today the PTA hot chocolate and cake sale will not be happening after school.

The second half of Spring term starts back on Monday 23rd February - have a lovely half term break, let's hope we start to see some sunnier days!
