Welcome back to the second half of the Spring term, where we are hoping for better weather so the children get to learn outdoors even more. This half term the children are learning new topics, the details of which have been posted on Tapestry for you to see. Reception - Once Upon a Time, Year 1 - Into the Woods and Year 2 Fire! Fire! - all fantastic topics which I am sure the children will really engage with.
Next week is our author day on Wednesday with Cat Weatherill and World Book Day on Thursday. Please see the information letter about these events that was sent home before half term and has been included again on your email this week. If your child needs a costume for World Book Day why not check out the PTA preloved costume shop after school today.
On World Book Day your child will come home with a book token and the books shown below are available to get with the token from a range of retailers including most supermarkets (no money needed, just the token).
Our year 1 and reception children are getting ready for their Easter service at church on 26th March - please read the letter that has been sent home today about this. Parent volunteers are needed to take children to and from the church.
Staffing

Mrs Gulliver, Cherry midday supervisor and a Smiles playworker, leaves the Telford team today to join the science team at Myton School. We wish her all the best and thank her for all she has done during her short time with us.
