We started this week with a visit from Jason Buckley - the Philosophy Man, who worked with all classes around 'thinking differently' to help develop their thinking, questioning and oracy skills. The children all engaged in the sessions really well and had fantastic ideas when developing opinions and choices. Jason commented our confident the children are at talking to partners and expressing themselves, which is really fantastic to hear. As a teaching team, the staff will continue to develop oracy skills across the curriculum, with a particular focus on developing 'the golden thread' in RE. This visit was funded directly by you from the PTA funds - so thank you!
Our budding rock stars, who are part of Rock Steady music lessons here in school, performed to their parents and carers this week. They all demonstrated confidence and enjoyment playing a range of well know pop songs. Please see the tapestry post from Mrs Taekema for more information and photographs.

Warwickshire residents - have your voice heard.
Warwickshire County Council is currently recruiting new members for its Voice of Warwickshire residents panel. The panel is a group of local people who play a vital role in helping the county council understand the views, needs and priorities of residents living in Warwickshire.
Through the panel members can share their thoughts and ideas and help shape the future of the county. Panel members will be invited to take part in online polls and short surveys, four to six times a year, it's quick and easy to take part and you can choose what you respond to. Members must be aged 18 or over and live in Warwickshire.
