Safeguarding Policies

Safeguarding children is taken extremely seriously at Telford Infant School. Any adult working in school, including volunteers, is required to undertake relevant police checks prior to starting work. Invariably this involves a DBS check. We have clear procedures to make sure that children are safe and secure at all times.

We actively support the Government’s Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism. We have a duty to protect our children against such influences and all of our staff are trained to recognise and deal with this issue.
